PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food additive preparation having both of a life prolonging effect and a water retainment improving effect, in order to solve a problem that, when using together an acidic life prolonging agent and an alkaline water-retaining agent for a purpose of improving life and yield in food manufacturing, effects of both agents are reduced due to neutralization.SOLUTION: The food additive preparation comprises an acetic acid salt as a main component, a pH adjusting agent, an organic acid salt or a phosphoric acid salt which is a yield-improving component, and a chloride.
