Beschrieben wird eine Riechstoffmischung, vorzugsweise Parfümöl, umfassend die Bestandteile (a) (Cyclopent-2-enyl-essigsäureethylester)sowie zusätzlich (b) einen oder mehrere Riechstoffe, vorzugsweise mit einer blumigen Geruchsnote, aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Alkoholen und Aldehyden mit einer Molmasse von 210 g/mol oder weniger und/oder (c) einen oder mehrere Riechstoffe aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Ketonen, Ethern und Estern mit einer Molmasse im Bereich von 190 g/mol bis 250 g/mol.Perfume mixture, preferably perfume oil, comprises: (a) ethyl 2-(cyclopent-2-enyl)acetate (I) and (b) at least one perfume with a flowery olfactory note, comprising alcohols or aldehydes with a molar mass of = 210 g/mole and/or (c) at least one perfume comprising ketones, ethers or esters with a molar mass of 190-250 g/mole. Independent claims are also included for: (1) preparing the perfume mixture, preferably perfume oil, comprising mixing the component (a) with components (b) and/or (c) (2) enhancing natural freshness and/or emanation and/or masking or reducing greasy and technical and/or metallic notes of at least one perfume that is different from (I), preferably at least one perfume with a flowery olfactory note, preferably jasmine, comprising mixing the perfume that is different from (I) with an amount of (I) that is sufficient for enhancing the natural freshness and/or emanation of the perfume, and/or for masking or reducing the greasy and technical and/or metallic notes of the perfume (3) a perfumed product comprising the above perfume mixture, preferably perfume oil and (4) producing the perfumed product, comprising (i) providing the above perfume mixture or producing the perfume mixture by the above method, (ii) providing the other components of the perfumed product, and (iii) contacting the other components of the perfumed product provided in step (ii) with the perfume mixture provided in step (i), where the amount of (I) in the perfume mixture is sufficient to enhance the
