PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee a normal operation of a clip type bed-leaving sensor even when a sensor body is installed in a wrong position with respect to a head board of a bed.SOLUTION: In a bed-leaving sensor including a body motion transmission string, one end of which has a clip attached to a care-receivers clothes, and the other end of which is provided with an insertion piece, and a sensor body 10A installed on a head board of a bed through a hook 12, the sensor body 10A is provided with a socket 22 where the insertion piece is inserted or removed, and body motion detection means including a switch that turns on or off by the insertion into or removal from the socket 22 of the insertion piece. The sensor body 10A includes a housing 11 having concave part 11a whose top face is open, and a spherical rotary body 21 supported in the concave part 11a so as to be rotatable like a ball joint so that part of it is exposed from the opening of the concave part 11a.
