PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: in the direct seeding cultivation, application of the so-called gel coated seeds is promoted, however, because a gel layer contains a lot of moisture and is rich in viscosity and the like, the seeds tend to stick together in the seed hopper thereby forming a bridge, and seeding accuracy is deteriorated.SOLUTION: In a seeding device 2 comprising a hopper part 17a accommodating gel coated seeds (hereinafter referred to as "seeds") 21, a delivery roll 20 having a roll hole 20b, to which the seeds 21 fall and enter, at an outer peripheral part 20a, and an arcuate guide plate 24 along the outer peripheral part 20a, there are provided: a rotary body 28 for arranging the seeds 21 one by one while rotating the seeds inside the hopper part 17a and guiding the same to the roll hole 20b; a solution application mechanism 29 for supplying a solution to a part between the guide plate 24 and the outer peripheral part 20a in the vicinity of a guide plate starting end part 24a, and coating the seeds 21 inside the roll hole 20b; and an energizing fall mechanism 30 for letting the seeds 21 fall while being energized from the vicinity of a guide plate trailer 24b.【課題】直播栽培には、いわゆるゲル被覆種子の適用が進められているが、そのゲル層は水分を多く含み粘性等に富むため、種子ホッパー内で種子同士が互いに粘着してブリッジが発生し、播種精度が悪化する、という問題があった。【解決手段】ゲル被覆種子(以下「種子」とする)21を収容するホッパー部17a、種子21が落入するロール穴20bを外周部20aに有する繰出ロール20、及び外周部20aに沿った円弧状のガイドプレート24を備えた播種装置2に、ホッパー部17a内で回転しながら種子21を一粒ずつ整列させてロール穴20bまで導く回転体28と、ガイドプレート始端部24a近傍でガイドプレート24・外周部20a間に溶解液を供給してロール穴20b内の種子21に塗布する溶解液塗布機構29と、ガイドプレート終端部24b近傍からの種子21を付勢落下させる付勢落下機構30とを設けた。【選択図】図3
