The present invention relates to a blood vessel pattern extraction method and apparatus of an ultrasound imaging device capable of extracting a blood vessel pattern of a subject using a simple method, compared to a method of extracting a blood vessel pattern of a subject using a conventional complicated method. According to the present invention, the blood vessel pattern extraction method of an ultrasonic imaging device comprises the steps of: a) transmitting a plurality of ultrasonic signals to a single scan line, and then receiving a plurality of ensemble signals, which are ultrasonic echo signals； b) sorting the plurality of ensemble signals in the order of focus, subtracting the ensemble signals with the same focus, and detecting a Doppler phase change； and c) imaging the detected Doppler phase change.본 발명은 종래 복잡한 방식을 사용하여 피검자의 혈관 패턴을 추출하는 방법에 비해, 단순한 방식을 이용하여 피검자의 혈관 패턴을 추출할 수 있는 초음파 영상장치의 혈관 패턴 추출 방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 의한 초음파 영상 장치의 혈관 패턴 추출 방법은 a) 단일의 스캔라인에 초음파 신호를 복수번 송신한 후, 초음파 반향신호인 복수의 앙상블 신호를 수신하는 단계, b) 복수의 앙상블 신호를 초점 순서대로 정렬하고, 동일한 초점의 앙상블 신호를 빼서, 도플러 위상변화를 감지하는 단계 및 c) 감지된 상기 도플러 위상변화를 영상화하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
