An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for driving a CAD/CAM system for manufacturing an open surgical guide, comprising following steps: generating scan data by scanning a region to be treated； generating a three-dimensional model from the scan data； designing a prosthesis model on the region to be treated based on the three-dimensional model； and designing a surgical guide which corresponds to the three-dimensional model and exposes an occlusal surface of the outer or inner surface of the prosthesis model.본 발명의 실시예는 치료 대상 영역을 스캔하여 스캔 데이터를 생성하는 단계, 상기 스캔 데이터로부터 삼차원 모델을 생성하는 단계, 상기 삼차원 모델에 기초하여 상기 치료 대상 영역에 보철물 모델을 디자인하는 단계 및 상기 삼차원 모델에 대응하고 상기 보철물 모델의 외측면 또는 내측면과 교합면을 노출하는 서지컬 가이드를 디자인하는 단계를 포함하는 CAD/CAM 시스템의 구동 방법을 제공한다.
