A method for determining a space-saving procedure according to one embodiment of the present invention generates an initial dental arch line with respect to a teeth model of a patient by using three-dimensional oral scan information of the patient； determines space excess or deficiency variables based on a curved length of the initial dental arch line and respective mesiodistal dimensions of teeth of the patient； corrects the initial dental arch line according to the space excess or deficiency variables； and determines a final dental arch line applied with the space-saving procedure.
