The present invention addresses the problem of providing a cosmetic which can be removed satisfactorily from fingers or a small tool, can spread smoothly on the skin, can form a non-sticky and uniform cosmetic film, can be applied beautifully, and has a long-lasting cosmetic effect. The cosmetic which overcomes the problem is characterized by comprising the following components (a) to (c): (a) agar (b) a hydrophobic modified polyetherurethane represented by general formula (1) R1-{(O-R2)k-OCONH-R3[-NHCOO-(R4-O)n-R5]h}m [wherein R1, R2 and R4 may be the same as or different from one another and independently represent a hydrocarbon group R3 represents a hydrocarbon group which may have a urethane bond R5 represents a linear, branched or secondary hydrocarbon group m represents a numeral value of 2 or greater h represents a numeral value of 1 or greater and k and n independently represent a numeral value ranging from 0 to 1000] and (c) a phospholipid.本發明係以提供一種以手指與小用具沾取效果佳,在皮膚上可滑順地推展,並形成無黏膩感且均勻的化粧膜,於完成美麗粧容的同時,可長時間持續該化粧效果之化粧料為課題。解決該課題之化粧料,其特徵係含有下述成分(a)~(c):(a)洋菜,(b)以下述一般式(1):R1-{(O-R2)k-OCONH-R3[-NHCOO-(R4-O)n-R5]h}m (1)[式中,R1、R2及R4係表示相互可為相同或相異的烴基,R3係表示亦可具有胺基甲酸酯鍵結之烴基,R5係表示直鏈、支鏈或2級的烴基,m係2以上之數,h係1以上之數,k及n係獨立的於0~1000此範圍之數]所示之疏水改性聚醚胺基甲酸酯,(c)磷脂質。
