The present invention relates to an active ankle joint brace comprising: a wearing unit in which a fixing plate surrounding the calf and a supporter surrounding the sole and the heal are separately formed up to a position close to an ankle bone, Velcro is connected to the fixing plate and the supporter to cover the calf and the top of a foot, and a shoe insert is attached to the sole to absorb impact； a joint unit in which upper and lower connection plates extended to a position corresponding to an ankle joint are mounted on the fixing plate and the supporter, respectively, and a joint plate is connected between the connection plates to guide rotation of the fixing plate and the supporter in the direction corresponding to the ankle joint； a detection unit in which one or more piezoelectric sensors are embedded in the lower surface of the shoe insert to detect the pressure of the sole and a displacement sensor is attached to the wearing or joint unit to detect the angle of the ankle in accordance with a gait； and a control unit in which embedded are a controller receiving a signal from the piezoelectric and displacement sensors to analyze the gait and a notification module receiving a signal from the controller to guide a correct gait.
