Sophorolipid is a non-toxic and biodegradable natural surfactant derived from microbes, is environmentally friendly, and, when dermal papilla cells are treated with sophorolipid, exhibits a growth promotion effect of the dermal papilla cells, remarkably decreases the number of shed hairs, and shows a hair growth promotion effect.
