PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition which expresses an excellent salivation promoting effect, has a large extent of administering compared with the existing agent, and has a sialogogic effective in patients with particularly drug-induced mouth dryness.SOLUTION: Provided is a salivation-promoting composition which contains ginseng radix and citrus unshiu peel as herbal medicines, and a composition which preferably contains 300-6000 mg of ginseng radix and 300-5000 mg of citrus unshiu peel by an original herbal medicine equivalent unit in a daily dose.
