The present invention relates to a cosmetic material for skin elasticity maintenance and regeneration and a skin external application composition for wound healing, which comprise essential oil isolated from Chrysanthemum boreale Makino through a steam distillation method. More particularly, the present invention relates to the skin external application composition for skin elasticity maintenance, regeneration, and wound healing which can provide skin elasticity maintenance, regeneration, and wound healing by inducing the proliferation and migration of skin epidermal keratinocytes and the synthesis and secretion of type IV collagen, as well as induce skin regeneration without side effects such as hypertrophic scar, and keloid which can occur during a wound healing process by inhibiting proliferation of dermal fibroblasts.본 발명은 산국(ChrysanthemumborealeMakino)으로부터 수증기 증류법(steam distillation)을 통해 분리되는 에센셜 오일(essential oil)을 포함하는 피부 탄력유지와 재생용 화장료 및 상처치유용 피부 외용제 조성물에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 피부 표피 각질형성세포의 증식과 이동 및 type IV 콜라젠 합성과 분비를 유도하여 피부의 탄력유지와 재생 및 상처 치유뿐만 아니라 진피 섬유아세포의 증식을 억제시켜 상처치유과정에서 발생할 수 있는 비대 흉터, 켈로이드 등의 부작용 없이 피부 재생을 유도할 수 있는 피부 탄력유지와 재생 및 상처치유용 피부 외용제 조성물에 관한 것이다.
