A suction system for capturing aerosols in dental operatories, primarilycomprising a means of suction, acollector and the intermediary connections. The means of suction is located ina compartment or areaoutside the operatory. The collector location is adjustable, but it isprimarily placed at the patient's chin,adjacent to his or her mouth. Then, through the means of suction, thecontaminated aerosols ejected froma patient's mouth during instrumentation will be removed from the operatoryand released into a saferarea.
