The present invention provides a cashew kernel conditioning machine and a method for conditioning of raw cashew kernels. The machine comprising: plurality of infrared heat source (2) adapted within a conditioning chamber to provide heat to said raw cashew kernels and a conveyor positioned below said infrared lamps and comprises plurality of conveying screw flights (3) serially aligned to convey said raw cashew kernels from an inlet point to a discharge point of said machine.The machine further comprises a temperature controller means adapted to adjust and control the temperature of the conditioning chamber.
