An article for storing a pharmaceutical formulation. In one or more embodiments,the present invention comprises a receptacle (125) for an aerosolizable formulation,the receptacle having a wall thickness of between about 100-235 microns, whereinthe receptacle is puncturable to allow escape and dispersion of the formulationtherein. Also provided are methods of aerosolizing formulations for inhalation,and systems for aerosolizing such formulations.
