PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article including a web formed of cane which has good liquid diffusing ability, is hard to deform after absorbing liquid, and maintains liquid diffusing ability.SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes: a liquid-permeable top sheet a liquid-impermeable back sheet and an absorber disposed between the liquid-permeable top sheet and the liquid-impermeable back sheet. The absorbent article includes a web formed of the cane, and the web formed of the cane has a rib-furrow surface including a plurality of ribs and a plurality of furrows along the fiber orientation direction of cane fibers.
