PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mowing implement reducing unmowed grass when down-cutting.SOLUTION: The mowing implement includes: a rotary driving type mower 4 and a car body, in which a driving source for the mower 4 and a traveling device are provided. The mower 4 includes: a cutter 14 wherein a plurality of hammer knives are provided in the outer periphery of a shaft 17, which rotates in a down-cut direction to the traveling direction a cutter case 12 for housing the cutter 14 and a resistance member 19 housed in the cutter case 12 and provided in the rear side to the traveling direction of the cutter 14.
