PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of a solid-state imaging device even when an endoscope is removed from a processor device while power is fed from the processor device to the solid-state imaging device of the endoscope.SOLUTION: The endoscope system comprises: an endoscope 10 including a power receiving part 36 that contactlessly receives electric power from a power feeding part 62 of a processor device 11, a power supply generation part 32 for generating a plurality of power supplies with different voltages by the received power, and a solid-state imaging device 30 driven by the plurality of generated power supplies and the power feeding part 62. A photodiode (PD) 42 detects a magnitude of leakage light of a light signal used for a contactless type communication between the endoscope 10 and the processor device 11. When the photodiode 42 detects displacement of the power receiving part 36 in a direction of separating from the power feeding part 62, before the power receiving part 36 separates from the power feeding part by such a distance not to receive the power, the endoscope system stops the power feed from the plurality of power supplies of the power supply generation part 32 to the solid-state imaging device 30 in a prescribed order.
