PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for percutaneous transdermal delivery of a potent pharmacologically active agent, in a transdermal drug delivery system for administering strong potent pharmacologically active agent through a stratum corneum epidermidis using skin piercing microprotrusions having a dry film of pharmacologically active material.SOLUTION: This device includes a member 14 having a plurality of corneum layer-piercing microprotrusions 12 and the dry film 12 on the member, wherein the film contains a fixed quantity of an aqueous solution of pharmacologically active material before drying.
