There is described a radiation source module for use in a fluid treatmentsystem. Theradiation source module comprises a plurality of elongate radiation sourceelements secured to aframe element, each elongate radiation source element having a longitudinalaxis； a first motiveelement secured to a first side portion of the frame element； and a secondmotive elementsecured to a second side portion of the frame element. The first motiveelement and the secondmotive element are configured to reversibly translate the plurality ofelongate radiation sourceelements in a direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis. Afluid treatment systemcomprising the radiation source module is also described.
