PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine mixing device which accurately determines a state of an abnormality that is hard to determine from an observation by a human from the outside of the device and safely resumes mixing operation of medicines after the interrupted state based on a determined result.SOLUTION: A medicine mixing device 20 of this invention includes: a container holding part 23 a syringe holding part 26 a moving mechanism 27 for moving the container holding part 23 in upward or downward directions and an oscillating mechanism 28 for oscillating at least one of the container holding part 23 and the syringe holding part 26 in a horizontal direction. The medicine mixing device 20 understands a state whether a medicine container 21 is punctured with a needle 24 or not by oscillating at least one of the moving mechanism 27 and the oscillating mechanism 28 before the resumption after an occurrence of an abnormality of the device.
