PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for enabling a user himself/herself to easily determine whether a blood vessel shape is a perfect circle without confirming the shape of the cross section of a tubular structure, such as a blood vessel.SOLUTION: The designation of the position of a tubular structure extracted from medical image data is received, and a diameter or a radius of the tubular structure on an orthogonal plane orthogonal to a core wire of the position is calculated on the basis of distance between the core wire and a plurality of positions constituting a contour of the tubular structure, or is calculated on the basis of the area of an area surrounded with the contour of the tubular structure, and is calculated by also using the length of the contour of the tubular structure. Then, display control is performed such that both calculated diameter and radius are displayed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】ユーザ自らが血管などの管状構造物の断面の形状を確認しなくとも、血管形状が真円であるかを容易に判断することができる仕組みを提供することを目的としている。【解決手段】医用画像データから州出された管状構造物の位置の指定を受け付け、当該位置の芯線と直交する直交平面上の管状構造物の直径もしくは半径を、芯線と管状構造物の輪郭を構成する複数の位置との距離をもとに算出、もしくは管状構造物の輪郭で囲まれた領域の面積をもとに算出するとともに、管状構造物の輪郭の長さも用いて算出する。そして算出された直径もしくは半径をいずれも表示するように表示制御する。【選択図】図2
