The composition, which makes muscles flexible by oral intake, comprises an n-3 highly unsaturated fatty acid as an active ingredient. The n-3 highly unsaturated fatty acid is preferably in the form of a free fatty acid, a lower alcohol ester or a glyceride or phospholipid containing the n-3 highly unsaturated fatty acid as a constituting fatty acid.
