The present invention discloses the use of the white spot syndrome virus VP31 and Laminin receptor protein for preparing a drugto prevent or treat white spot syndrome virus infection and the composition thereof. The composition comprises polypeptides selected from the WSSV VP31 andPenaeusmonodonLaminin receptor (PmLamr) protein and fragments of these two proteins antibodies derived from WSSV VP31, PmLamr protein and fragments of these two proteins. The composition of the present invention can be prepared as solutions for immersion and injection, and as feed additives.本發明揭露白點症病毒VP31及層黏蛋白受體結合蛋白用於製造預防及/或治療白點症病毒感染藥物之用途、及其組成物。該藥物或組成物可包含選自以下之多肽:白點症病毒VP31蛋白與草蝦Laminin受體蛋白、白點症病毒VP31與草蝦Lamin受體蛋白片段,以VP31與草蝦Laminin受體蛋白與其片段分別製備之抗體。本發明之組成物可作為浸泡液、注射劑及飼料添加物。
