The present invention discloses a medicine for treating cough and a method for manufacturing the same. The medicine for treating cough contains: 10 to 20 parts by weight of Fritillaria cirrhosa； 10 to 15 parts by weight of Perilla frutescens； 3 to 20 parts by weight of Glycyrrhiza uralensis； 12 to 18 parts by weight of orange peels； and 5 to 10 parts by weight of brown sugar.
