A portable electric device for a user wearing can calculate energy consumption of the user. The portable electric device includes: a G-sensor, a pressure sensor, a processor and a display. The G-sensor senses a waveform variation generated by the user stepping, and generates a first signal. The pressure sensor is electrically connected to the G-sensor for sensing a height variation and generating a second signal. The processor is electrically connected to the G-sensor and the pressure sensor for receiving the first signal and the second signal, and the processor computes the energy consumption of the user according to the waveform variation and the height variation.
