PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical MRI contrast medium applicable to not only liver tumor but also tumors of several objective tissues, and to provide particulates applicable as the contrast medium.
SOLUTION: The composite particles are provided by bonding a polyalkylene glycol through sulfur to all or a part of gold particulates in gold iron oxide particles comprising magnetic iron oxide particle and a plurality of gold particulates thereon.
