PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic wave group analysis method allowing high-accuracy and realtime analysis in analysing a wave group of elastic waves.SOLUTION: The elastic wave group analysis method includes: a waveform data acquisition operation for acquiring three elastic waveform recordings having different vibration directions from each other; a waveform data extraction operation for extracting waveform data with a predetermined time window width for each of the three elastic waveform recordings, and setting three types of pairs of two components from waveform data of three components; a regression line calculation operation for applying a least square method to each of the three types of pairs to calculate three types of regression lines; and a vector generating operation for generating three types of three-dimensional synthetic position vectors using the three types of regression lines.
