PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for winding Chinese yam vines, capable of finishing the winding and removing operation of the Chines yam vines easily and in a short time, and also bringing the wound chinese yam vines as a compact bundle having a light weight.SOLUTION: The apparatus for winding the Chines yam vines is constituted with an introduction unit for introducing a net entangled with the withered Chinese yam vines from a Chinese yam field into an apparatus body, a winding unit of winding the net sent from the introduction unit to make the bundle, a power transmitting unit for transmitting the power to the winding unit, and a frame member for forming the skeleton of the apparatus body and also mounting and supporting each of the members. The winding unit consists of a rotary side wheel and a winding side wheel. A tapered funnel like winding drum is formed at the axial core of at least the winding side wheel among the each of the wheels.
