PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sitting posture improving device that can be retrofitted or pre-assembled to a chair body such as a wheelchair, and can improve a sitting posture of a seated person practically and effectively, and to provide a chair body with the same.SOLUTION: A sitting posture improving device 1 is provided in a chair body 10 and improves a sitting posture of a seated person. The device has: a pelvis supporting belt 2 for supporting a pelvis of the seated person a chest supporting belt 3 for supporting a chest of the seated person and a belt fixture 4 including a front bar 41, a rear bar 42 and a lower bar 43. The pelvis supporting belt 2 has each end fixed to any of each bar 41, 42, 43, and is attached to the front lower part of a backrest 11.
