PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quite novel color printing technique for foods which can achieve high quality and decorativeness by integration with the surface of foods without use of edible seals or edible films often leading to an increase in production cost.SOLUTION: A color printing method for foods comprises forming an edible ground layer region by coating a range 3 of a target food 1, or an apple fruit 1, including a to-be-printed part 2 (target part 2) of the surface of the apple fruit 1 and being slightly wider than the target part 2, uniformly without unevenness, with an inagel varnish layer prepared by mixing water, inagel powder and an edible varnish, with stirring, in a specified ratio, forming an edible ground layer region 4 with an inagel layer based on water and inagel powder (C and D) and forming an edible color display layer 5 composed of an edible ink in the target part 2 of the edible ground layer 4 by using an edible printer (not illustrated) (F) and drying (G).COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】 勢い製造コストの嵩むような可食シールや可食フィルムなどを利用せずとも、食品の表面に一体化して高い品質と装飾性とを達成できる全く新たな食品のカラー印刷技術を提供する。【解決手段】 対象食品1である林檎果実1の表面の印刷対象箇所2を含み、且つ該印刷対象箇所2を僅かに上回る範囲3に対し、水、イナゲル粉、食品用ニスを所定の割合で攪拌・混合してなるイナゲル・ニス層にてムラ無く均質に被覆した可食下地層域を形成した後、水およびイナゲル粉を主成分とするイナゲル層にて可食下地層域4を形成(C,D)した後、該可食下地層域4上適所の印刷対象箇所2に対し、可食印刷機(図示せず)にて、可食インクからなる可食カラー表示層5を形成(F)・乾燥(G)するようにしてなる食品のカラー印刷方法である。【選択図】 図1
