A method of treating a broncho-constrictive condition, comprising the act of administering to a subject in need thereof a composition comprising pentameric procyanidin type A at a concentration ranging from about 55% w / w. up to about 99% w / w, trimeric procyanidin and tetrameric procyanidin, each in a concentration ranging from about 0.5% w / w. up to about 35% w / w. possibly together with one or more than one pharmaceutical excipient in a concentration ranging from about 0.5% to about 99.9%. 2. The method of claim 1, wherein said bronchial constrictive condition is selected from the group consisting of allergic rhinitis, asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or any combination thereof.
