When a transmitter (2) transmits a signal to a surface acoustic wave device (5), a control circuit (7) turns on a switch (13) in advance. The control circuit (7) turns off a switch (17) before the signal is applied to a receiver (3), for example, a reception changeover switch (21) or a low-noise amplifier (22) after propagation through the surface acoustic wave device (5). Thus, a leak signal leaking to the receiver (3) side through the switch (13) can be made less influential.
