The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for separating blood for an extraction of platelet rich plasma and, more specifically, to an apparatus for separating blood for an extraction of platelet rich plasma, capable of separating a plunger from a kit in which blood is extracted and centrifuging the same, and connecting, by using a connector, a syringe to the kit in which blood centrifugation has been performed such that specific components of blood such as separated platelet rich plasma (hereinafter, referred to as "PRP") can be separately accommodated in the syringe.
