PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a charcoal-kneaded granular material effectively usable for efficient growth of plants, purification of water, deodorization, humidity adjustment and prevention of termite each for houses/buildings while effectively utilizing wastes.
SOLUTION: The method for producing a charcoal-kneaded granular material includes kneading a resin and a plant material under the condition at the temperature of 300-400°C, and pulverizing the kneaded material. The method has such a merit as to carbonize the plant material by kneading it at a high temperature of 300-400°C and thereby bring air permeability, water retention and adsorption to the carbonized plant material. The kneaded material is pulverized to turn into a material favorable to environment for growing plants, so that the kneaded material is pulverized into 0.1-5 mm.
