PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsular tension device which enables a zonule of Zinn to transmit slight contractions and relaxation of a ciliary muscle of a ciliary body to a lenticular capsule with accuracy and prevents the occurrence of secondary cataract.SOLUTION: A capsular tension device 1 which is set inside a lenticular capsule whose anterior capsule is incised in a cataract operation or the like includes: an annular front supporting part 11 provided in a state to make contact with an inner surface of the anterior capsule Sf an annular back supporting part 12 which is provided on a back side of the front supporting part 11 in a state to make contact with an inner surface of a posterior capsule Sb while facing the front supporting part 11 and a connecting part 13 which connects a peripheral edge part of the front supporting part 11 and a peripheral edge part of the back supporting part 12 in a state to have biasing force in a direction to separate the front supporting part 11 from the back supporting part 12.
