PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a focus unit of an ophthalmography apparatus.SOLUTION: An ophthalmography apparatus of an embodiment includes: an illumination optical system for guiding an illumination light beam to an eyeground an imaging optical system that includes a focus lens movable along an imaging optical axis and images the eyeground illuminated with the illumination light beam and a focus unit that forms an optical path branching from the illumination optical system, is provided so as to be movable along the illumination optical axis, and irradiates the eyeground with light for focusing, where focus adjustment is performed using the focus lens and the focus unit. The focus unit includes: a light source section and an optical member including a reflection surface that deflects only part of light output from the light source section and collimated while dividing the part into two or more light beams, to guide the deflected part to the illumination optical systems optical path. The light source section and the optical member are arranged on both sides of the illumination optical axis so as to be opposite to each other. A collimating lens for making parallel light beams from light from the light source section is provided between the light source section and the illumination optical axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
