PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic imaging apparatus capable of determining the acoustic pressure of ultrasonic waves to be emitted, in consideration of the acoustic pressure distribution of ultrasonic waves in a subject.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic imaging apparatus is adapted to display an MI (mechanical index) value distribution function 62 or a black-and-white gradation scale 63 on a display part 106 so as to be placed side by side with or to be superimposed on tomographic image information 41. An operator therefore acquires, prior to imaging, a region where the acoustic pressure in an imaging region becomes the destructive acoustic pressure of a contrast medium, and eventually makes the region in which the contrast medium is destroyed, coincident with the described position of the contrast medium in the imaging region by resetting a scan parameter value, thereby achieving the efficient, accurate and reliable destruction of the contrast medium.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】被検体内における超音波の音圧分布を考慮して、照射される超音波の音圧を決定できる超音波撮像装置を実現する。【解決手段】MI値分布関数62または白黒階調スケール63を、断層画像情報41と並べるかまたは重ねて表示部106に表示することとしているので、オペレータは、撮像以前に、撮像領域における音圧が造影剤の破壊音圧となる領域を把握し、ひいてはスキャンパラメータ値の再設定により、造影剤が破壊される領域を、撮像領域の中で造影剤が描出される位置と一致させ、無駄なく間違いのない、確実な造影剤破壊を行うことを実現させる。【選択図】図7
