PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To capture a high-quality image even if there is a strong reflector, and to capture images and to perform treatment without reducing the total sound pressure even if there is a region where a high sound pressure should not be applied.SOLUTION: Data for setting a target beam are obtained, and the position and strength of the region to be avoided are detected from the data. The position and strength are converted to a target beam shape, and focus data to form the beam in the target beam shape are computed.
