PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique for new pattern matching with directionality.SOLUTION: When a point P of interest is set in image data 1, multiple directions that are indicated by broken lines at an equal angular interval with the point P of interest as a center are set and templates along the directions are set for each direction. Correlative operations are performed while the templates are moved along each one of the directions in image data 2. Besides, the movement direction (search direction) of the point P of interest is selected from the multiple directions, based on the results of the correlative operations related to the multiple directions, and then, the movement destination of the point of interest P is searched along the movement direction. Thus, a movement destination P is specified in the image data 2 as the movement destination of the point P of interest that has been set in the image data 1.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】方向性を備えた新しいパターンマッチングの技術を提供する。【解決手段】画像データ1内に注目点Pが設定されると、その注目点Pを中心として等角度間隔で破線で示す複数の方向が設定され、各方向ごとにその方向に沿ったテンプレートが設定される。そして、画像データ2内において各方向ごとにその方向に沿ってテンプレートが移動されつつ相関演算が実行される。さらに、複数の方向に関する相関演算の結果に基づいて、それら複数の方向の中から注目点Pの移動方向(探索方向)が選択され、その移動方向に沿って注目点Pの移動先が探索される。こうして、画像データ1内に設定された注目点Pの移動先として、画像データ2内において移動先P´が特定される。【選択図】図2
