PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To image an elastic image for faithfully representing an aspect of a body tissue by improving the measurement accuracy of a displacement of the body tissue.SOLUTION: In an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus, an area-of-interest setting means sets an area of interest in which the searching direction of the displacement is predetermined by corresponding to the body tissue of a test subject 101, ultrasound waves transmitting and receiving means 103 deflects the ultrasound waves which a probe 102 transmits and receives to and from the test subject 101 for fitting it in the searching direction of the displacement of the area of interest, and each elastic image composing means, 105 to 108, composes an elastic image by measuring the displacement in the searching direction at each point in the area of interest.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】生体組織の変位の計測精度を向上して生体組織の性状をより忠実に現わした弾性画像を撮像する。【解決手段】関心領域設定手段は、変位の探索方向が予め定められた関心領域を被検体101の生体組織に対応して設定し、超音波送受信部103は探触子102が被検体101との間で送受する超音波ビームを関心領域の変位の探索方向に合わせて偏向し、弾性画像構成手段105~108は探索方向の変位を関心領域における各点で計測して弾性画像を構成する。【選択図】図1
