PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope capable of easily securing a heat radiation property in a cooling structure and miniaturizing the cooling structure at the same time.SOLUTION: The endoscope 12 includes an illumination section 113 at the distal end of an insertion section 20, and the illumination section 113 is cooled by feeding a refrigerant to a conduit member 131 in the cooling structure. The conduit member 131 has the illumination section 113 at one end 131a of the conduit member 131. The one end 131a is disposed on a U-shaped bottom 141a side.
