The present invention relates to a container holder for an injector (i) for injection of a fluid into the human or animal body, wherein at least one container receptacle (10) is provided for receiving a filled container (b). with the fluid and a temperature regulating device (20) to regulate the temperature of the container (b) to a specified temperature. to be able to insert containers of different shapes and sizes into the container holder and adjust their temperature with the temperature regulating device (20) to a desired temperature without heat loss, and to enable simple and unimpeded insertion and removal of the container. the temperature regulating device (20) is coupled to a conveyor device (30) with which the temperature regulating device (20) can be brought into and out of thermal contact with the container (b) inserted into the receptacle of container (10).
