This invention relates to a method of dwarfing an orchid pedicle, in which a dwarfing agent aqueous solution of concentration ranging from 10 to 5000 mg.L-1 is directly/indirectly attached to the tip of the pedicle before the length of the orchid pedicle reaches 20 cm, so as to maintain the pedicle length at 10 to 20 cm. In this invention, the dwarfing agent aqueous solution is coated on the pedicle tip. By directly inhibiting the pedicle length, the height of the plant can be precisely controlled without affecting the configuration of leaves and roots, so as to achieve the purpose of standardization by maintaining the pedicle length at 10 to 20 cm. In addition, additional effects such as enlarging flower radius and prolonging flower appreciation period are also achieved.本發明係一種矮化蘭花花梗的方法，於該蘭花花梗梗長未達20公分之前，將濃度10-5000 mg‧L-1的矮化劑水溶液直接/間接只附著於花梗之梗尖，以令花梗長度係維持於10-20公分。本發明將矮化劑水溶液塗抹於花梗梗尖上，藉由直接作用抑制花梗長度的方式，更容易精準控制植株高度且不影響葉、根之型態，以達到將花梗長度係維持於10-20公分之規格化目的，此外，尚有加大花徑及延長賞花期等附加效果。
