The present invention provides an approach for stabilizing and/or smoothingpreparations containing colloidal materials, a pre-mix and a process forpreparing skincare compositions and an improved skin care composition, said compositionbeingpresented in semi-solid or wet form and comprising more than 1% (w/w) ofcolloidalmaterial. In one embodiment of the invention the composition comprises morethan1% of colloidal material such as colloidal oatmeal, said composition beingparticularlyuseful for treating the skin and ameliorating skin disorder symptoms.
