Partition structure extends from a bottom surface of the cover member and defines at least one suture retaining area (30). An information label is attached to an upper surface of the cover. A plurality of protrusions (40) are positioned adjacent the outer wall for maintaining surgical suture material a predetermined distance toward a center portion of the package.
