Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein wasserhaltiges kosmetisches Mittel zum Färben von keratinischen Fasern, welches– einen pH-Wert im Bereich von 1,0 bis 5,5 besitzt und– mindestens einen direktziehenden Säurefarbstoff und– bezogen auf das Gewicht des Mittels, 6 bis 12 Gew.-% organisches Lösemittel, das zu 80–100 Gew.-% aus Propylencarbonat und zu 0–20 Gew.-% aus Benzylalkohol besteht,enthält.Die Zusammensetzung des organischen Lösemittels wurde für die Schaumapplikation optimiert.
