Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindungen sind Haarbehandlungsmittel zur Verringerung und/oder Vermeidung des Ausblutens und/oder Verblassens künstlich erzeugter Haarfarben, welches einen wässrigen kosmetischen Träger umfasst, und (a) einen pH-Wert im Bereich von 3,5 bis 6,0 besitzt, und (b) mindestens ein Erdalkalisalz einer Dicarbonsäure mit 2 bis 8 C-Atomen enthält. Weitere Gegenstände der vorliegenden Erfindung sind ein Verfahren und eine Mehrkomponenten-Verpackungseinheit, bei denen die vorgenannten Haarbehandlungsmittel zum Einsatz kommen.
