PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting blinking in a waveform of an electrooculogram which is capable of detecting a blinking waveform more accurately than ever before.SOLUTION: A blnking detection device includes: means for measuring an eye potential of a subject means for generating time series data of a differential value of the eye potential means for determining a frequency characteristic value indicating frequency characteristics of the differential value of the eye potential means for setting a threshold coefficient on the basis of the frequency characteristic value of the differential value of the eye potential, and setting an upper threshold and a lower threshold for detecting a blinking waveform in the time series data of the differential value of the eye potential on the basis of the number obtained by multiplying the standard deviation of the differential value of the eye potential by the threshold coefficient and means for detecting a change in the differential value of the eye potential as a blinking waveform when the differential value of the eye potential changes from the upper threshold to the lower threshold within a predetermined time after the differential value of the eye potential exceeds the upper threshold in the time series data of the differential value of the eye potential, or when the differential value of the eye potential changes from the lower threshold to the upper threshold within a predetermined time after it falls below the lower threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
