PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure between optical fibers, reducing a transmission loss and allowing smooth connection between the optical fibers without disturbing engagement with each other, and to provide an endoscope system including the same.SOLUTION: A connection structure 71 between optical fibers includes: an optical fiber holding part 68 holding a first optical fiber 54 a holder part 100 an optical fiber holding part 63 holding a second optical fiber 35 and a holder part 110. The holder part 100 includes an outer sleeve 101, an inner sleeve 102, a fixed cylinder 103, and a coil spring 104. The outer circumferential face of the inner sleeve 102 is fitted in the inner circumferential face of the outer sleeve 101. The outer circumferential face of the optical fiber holding part 68 is fitted in the inner circumferential face of the inner sleeve 102, so that the first optical fiber 54 and the second optical fiber 35 are connected.
